“ We are a couple catching a train from Haymarket to Glasgow and stopped here for a quick breakfast. The sandwich was great but the hospitality of the owner is unmatched. He found a spot for our large luggages so we can sit comfortably inside. A great spot to stop by in or out of Haymarket. ”
“ Such a nice place to enjoy a deliciously and freshly prepared Sandwich/Panini. I ordered one with Chorizo, Tomato and Mozarella cheese and also green Pesto. It was so crispy on the outside but fluffy and cheesy in the inside. Big recommendation to order this one. It is a friendly atmosphere and the nice man behind the desk recommended me also different soups or waffles. I will definitely come back. :) ”
“ Staff and owner are really friendly and is a really nice relaxed place. Beautiful decor inside and is a nice place to grab a quick breakfast for a good price. Just opposite the Haymarket Train Station, making it a good spot to grab something to eat before your journey. Would recommend for anyone local or visiting. ”
“ Previously had a take away but have been here this morning for a quick brunch and I must say, the vibes and music are so soothing and peaceful. I had the Korean hot chicken panini and iced hot chocolate, both were made to perfection. And on top of that the owner is one of the nicest persons I’ve come across in Edinburgh. Highly recommend!! ”
“ Really cosy cafe with a warm welcome. Had some breakfast sandwiches for brunch before hopping on the airport express. Great coffee :) ”
“ My friend wanted to go to Starbucks, but I insisted we go to a local business. We came in looking for coffee and a little food. While the owner, Donald, was waiting patiently, we perused the menu, and while changing our selection between the tempting eggs & bacon, my friend and I finally both decided on the scrambled eggs & cheese on sourdough. We sat down and waited for our order. The ambiece was delightful, with a soft-volume 80's music playing and a general liveliness of the place. Our food came after only a couple minutes. We had our food, and it was probably the best eggs on toast to memory! Such a simple dish, but it was memorable. What really impressed me was the engagement from Donald and Tracy, the owners. This is definitely a place to stop in for coffee takeaway, but to eat in the quaint cafe is what community and travel is all about. I obviously highly recommend everyone go to Sandwich Culture! ”
“ Our first meal in Edinburgh was not disappointing! We ordered the full Scottish breakfast and everything was delicious especially haggis (which I'm so glad I tried.) The owner was super welcoming and the prices were more than reasonable. Great place! ”
“ I had a very good breakfast. The owner of the restaurant was very nice and the service was very good. I would recommend it to everyone. ”
